Protect your precious memories forever. We can take your digital images and convert them to video with transitions and music to create a wonderful memory.
Our clients choose this to show pictures of them growing up, pictures of them together and their wedding studio photos during their wedding dinners. We can also make video montages for birthdays, reunions, graduations, anniversaries or other special events.
You can include an unlimited amount of text into your video montages. This is very useful for those couples who wish to include credits to thank their family and friends.
How much do we charge?
For Singapore customers, we charge $1 SG per photo with minimum of 30 photographs.
You are required to pick up the DVD yourself at OUR CONVENIENCE but if you wish to have the DVD sent to you via registered mail, we will do so at an extra charge of $3.
For DVDs delivered via registered mail, you are required to transfer the money into our bank account first before receiving your DVD.
For International customers, the charges are the same but there is a minimum number of photographs used (30 Photographs), a shipping charge and full payment must be made before work is done.
As an assurance to the quality of the work we do, we will let you view the video montage on Youtube first. You can ask for changes of the effects used, include last minute text, change photos in the selection etc until you are satisfied with the montage.
Once you have agreed with the final draft, we will burn the DVD copy for you.
How long will it take?
We usually need 7 working days to work on a draft. However, if you urgently require your video montage, please do inform us and we will try to make it a priority at no extra charge.
We also offer same day service at the same cost for local services. However, clients are responsible in sending us the photographs and picking the DVDs up. You are required to make an appointment with us to check our availability on that day. No changes are allowed to be made for the montages and we have the right to use our own discretion on what style to use for each photograph.
How about the music?
Due to Singapore’s strict copyright laws, we are not able to embed copyrighted music in your video montages.
This is the general advice that I give to my clients who wish to showcase their wedding montages in hotels.
The advice
Think of the music you want to use. If you wish to embed music in your video, use royalty free music. Buy one that is available on the net which will inflate the cost of your montage. You can also use the royalty free ones that I have which are free.
If you wish to use those copyrighted music, you have to acquire the license from Compass first and it will involve a lot of paper work and hundreds/thousands of dollars.
Or you can go the less costly way which is to play the music using the CD while the video (without any music) is playing. It's free and you can have your selection of own songs. Most hotels have bought rights to play copyrighted music. Some hotel technicians may ask for original music CDs so be prepared to have that. You can also ask them first whether they need those in original.
And for your own personal use, I can embed in royalty free music in the video.
If you wish to embed the video file with your music independently, we are able to give you a high resolution video file. We are not responsible with what you do with the video file.
Scanning of Pictures
We advise customers to scan their pictures at a 300 DPI and possibly at a size higher than 800 X 600. We can assist them with the colour correction after you send us the photographs. However, if the photographs have blemishes and you wish you have it repaired, please do check out our photo editing service fee.
We can scan your pictures at an extra cost of $0.50 per picture. Customers must deliver the pictures to us. We will email you the scanned copy.
